Without these essentials—the basic truths of the faith—they will never establish strong roots or bear fruit. What Every Christian Ought to Know seeks to give intellectual truth, and also to provide the “spiritual nutrients” required to produce mature faith.

Topics include: Relationships 101—taking the risk to be a friend through thick and thin, Redeeming the Wreckage—recognizing the importance of forgiveness, Ready to Reveal—being honest and vulnerable to build deeper bonds, Ring Ring! When God saves individuals, He also places them in a community of believers in order to accomplish His purposes in our world.   This study addresses many thought-provoking and challenging questions, like: “What does it mean to be born into the family of God?” and “How can God use our lives to touch a world in need of salvation?”  As participants understand the deeper truths of this study, they can experience true fulfillment in life, a manifest presence of God in their midst, and a love that can only come from above.

Feast – Finding Your Place at the Table of Tradition

 Focuses on the major feasts of the Jewish calendar and the celebratory design of God’s plan. Integrating Jewish and Christian perspectives, this study addresses the present-day church culture that is driven by work and less on celebration. Participants prepare in advance by answering discussion questions that drive the sessions. At the end of each session, a section will point participants to articles, blogs, and Web sites to help them move beyond the scope of the session
