Roy Callahan became Briar Hill's Associate Pastor of Education & Outreach in January 2007. Roy served 24 years in the U.S. Navy and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Bibilcal Studies at Southeastern Bible College, Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Memphis, Tennessee. Roy has been married for thirty five years to his high school sweetheart, Mary. They have two married children and three grandchildren.

Brian Jolly became the Interim Minister of Worship in August 2006. Brian and his wife Ellen are life-long members of Briar Hill. He is employed by the Rankin County School Board and has served many churches in the Jackson area as an interim in the area of music and worship. The Jollys have one son, Nate.
