Justin McLendon, Senior Pastor

Justin McLendon became Senior Pastor of Briar Hill Baptist Church on June 20, 2010.  He earned  degrees from Mississippi State University (B.S.), and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. and Ph.D.). Pastor Justin, age 30, is a native of Clinton.  He and his wife, Christie, have one daughter, Marlee, who is 18 months, and are expecting identical twins in December 2010.  

 
 
Roy Callahan, Associate Pastor of Education and Outreach Ministries

Roy Callahan became Briar Hill's Associate Pastor of Education & Outreach in January 2007. Roy served 24 years in the U.S. Navy and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies at Southeastern Bible College, Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Memphis, Tennessee. Roy has been married for thirty five years to his high school sweetheart, Mary. They have two married children and three grandchildren.
