Pauline's Open DOor Library

In 1944, the members of Briar Hill voted to sponsor a church library. In 2010, the library was named in memory of two women who were so vital to Briar Hill’s library, Mrs. Pauline Boteler and Mrs. Pauline Harrison. Today, Pauline’s Open Door Library contains many forms of media.

In addition to non-fiction books, books on DVD, and fiction books, we also offer a Summer Reading program for ages 6 months to twelve years old. All media is previewed and age appropriate. The library is located next to our church office, second floor of main building, behind the Sanctuary.

Librarian assistance is normally available on Sunday mornings 8:30am – 9:00am, Sunday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm, and Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. The library is currently closed, but you can still check out a book through reservation via the office, or sign up using sheets available in hallways. There are many opportunities to serve in Pauline’s Open Door. If you are interested in this ministry or have questions, please call the church office at 601-845-6843.
